During our travels, and sometimes right here at
home, we meet many different kinds of artists, some of whom we like
very much, always having one very important thing in common –
genuine sweetness – and always making things to get by. They
inspired us to start this new monthly section in the Salon featuring
the art of our favorite sweethearts. We hope you will enjoy it,
and if you see something you like, let them know. |

JENNY
KRASNER
Jenny Krasner had the chutzpah to set up a sidewalk gallery on
West 22nd Street in front of an auto supply store. She’s a
New York native and an accomplished artist. Her mixed-media street
art rivaled anything showing in the established galleries. And she’s
been in plenty of those, too.
