Guest Update
Since 2006 Tasha Robbins has been living in a rooming house in
the Bed-Stuy neighborhood of Brooklyn, a place she likens to a spirit-sister
of New Orleans. The new paintings featured here were made in her
present Brooklyn home, and they reflect a wonderful, idiosyncratic
vitality hard to find in most other parts of New York. All of these
works are done in acrylic on streetfound cardboard, and their dimensions
range from 4"x4" to 12"x12". They are available
for sale, and they are priced to be affordable, in keeping with
Tasha's credo: "Real art at real prices for real people."
Please contact her directly for more details.

Tasha Robbins
Tasha Robbins is an accomplished painter. She was living in New
Orleans when Katrina hit and forced her to evacuate her studio,
leaving much of her work behind. She made her way north. Thankfully,
her work was spared by the storm and she is currently living in
New York City.
